Yes, but like any hand-painted item, care must be taken when handling to protect its painted surface. Never use any abrasive cleaner, at this may cause damage.
Could you paint an entire dinner set for me?
Yes, the 'Peeping Tom' design works best on the items you'd find in a dinner or tea set.
It is my parents' Golden Wedding Anniversary soon – could you commemorate that in a plate?
Yes – you can have anything, within reason, done on a commemorative plate. I would suggest the names of the couple at the top, the title of the celebration, eg '40 years' under that, the date of the wedding underneath the cats, and the words 'Still going strong...' across the bottom. Gold or silver paint could be touched in as appropriate.
I want to order a watercolour name with three letters in it. Would it still look OK?
Yes. I fill the frame either side of a short name with cat cartoon designs, such as a cat in a tree, or a few cats huddled together looking at the first letter in the name.
What is the maximum number of letters you can do in a watercolour name?
Any more than 9 and it all starts to look too crowded. The longest name I have successfully done is Emily-Kate.
